Vintage items are one of a kind unless otherwise specified. sizing Vintage sizes are very different than modern sizes, so you can't go by what is on the tag. I take the actual measurements of the garment lying flat and then double the bust, waist, and hip measurements to get an estimated size. Just compare those measurements with your figure giving yourself an inch or two of variance from your actual body measurements. A little more for outerwear, about three to four inches. Or you can compare the item with something you already own and you know fits well. Lay your garment flat out and measure the bust (armpit to armpit), waist, and hip. Remember to double those because you are measuring two sides at once. Sewing patterns and leaflets are shipped USPS 1st class for $2.00 I have been tweaking the shipping rates, trying to make them reasonable and fair. My products go across the board when it comes to weight, so I have devised a general rates chart for clothes and average weight items(see it below). Heavier items will have the extra shipping amount folded into the price. I will always try to keep shipping low on these items by using the USPS flat rate boxes when I can.
